Even for projects of smaller sizes, discussion and arrangements often take an unreasonable amount of time, particularly when project participants are separated geographically and possibly in different time zones.

The internal news system provides an intelligent extension to any e-mail list and thus helps to confine your daily flood of e-mails. The latest news is displayed on the start page, and can be delivered to the participants by e-mail if desired. All news items will be archived and at your disposal if required at a later point in time.

The forums are especially useful for decision making within the team. Arbitrary topics can be discussed sequentially, without the need for participants being online at the same time. Later, forum discussions can be easily followed and searched.

At various places within Planio, participants can leave comments on tasks or news enabling content-related remarks to be attached on the spot.
